How to quickly and easily repair any Hog Island Boat
Our boat hull is built to last for generations. Our roto-molded hulls are much easier to repair than fiberglass or aluminum boats. The process simply involves melting plastic back into plastic. Our high density polyethylene hull can be patched and built up forever. Here is a video we have made that shows how easy it is to do repairs by simply melting plastic back into plastic. Here is a link to written instructions. This is a process that has been done in extreme situations on the fly between floats in a parking lot in Idaho with a cigarette lighter, and on a multi-day float in the Grand Canyon with a camp stove and a stubby river knife.
