Our Boats
SW 14 Skiff | SW 16 Skiff | LTD 16 Drift Boat
SW 14 Skiff
The SW14 is a boat like no other in her class for fishability. This is to be sure a small boat that fishes like a big boat. With a 72” beam, and a 50” floor our customers have room to bring a couple friends, or their big happy dog, and not worry about tipping over while netting a fish. Her hull bottom is flat from near the bulk head to the transom with three raised 1” ribs. There is a very shallow "v" on her hull bottom just forward of the bulk head to cut chop.SW 16 Skiff
The SW 16 skiff is designed to be very stable side to side, and tip to tail, and to float very shallow. Her bottom width is 54", and her beam is 78". We want our boat owners to feel stable when leaning over the gunwale, to be comfortable navigating obstructions when running under motor, and to be able to comfortably bring friends and family. Her hull bottom is flat from near the bulk head to the transom with three raised 1" ribs. There is a very shallow "v" on our hull bottom just forward of the bulk head to cut chop.LTD 16 Drift Boat
The LTD 16 drift boat is designed to go downriver anywhere. She is a quiet boat in shallow, rocky, and fast downhill water, as well as buoyant, and responsive in big water. One of the most endearing qualities to our customers over time is the interior spaciousness. The front deck, cockpit, and rear deck are big, and open in contrast to other drift boats..Testimonial
What Our Clients Say
Rob Fuentes. Alaska's Bearclaw Lodge
Alaska's Bearclaw Lodge have been using Hog Island Boats for many years now. Hands down, they are the best boat for our application. They fish and ride well. They handle the abuse of our rough terrain, shallow water and open water while crossing the lakes. After all these years, they look just as good as they day we got them. We are extremely happy with them.
Mike and Jenny Fiebig: One River Expedition
When Jenny and I started preparing to row 1800 miles on the Green and Colorado Rivers, from Wyoming to Mexico, we needed a boat that could take a beating from low water on the Upper Green River, swiftly row hundreds of miles of flatwater reservoirs, negotiate the class 4 rapids of Gates of Lodore, Cataract Canyon and the Grand Canyon, and carry nearly five months of gear and supplies.
Tribute de Hog
It won't take long to describe what Hog Island represents in their boats.....Every aspect of a Hog Island is bomber! In the years my Hog has been in the water it has seen rocks, drops, serious carnage and a ton of fish. Not only is this boat durable, and maneuverable, but it is stealthy quiet! Pure and simple, every second I spend in my Hog is as if I had floated away to fish heaven on puffy cloud of happiness!
