Hog Island Boat Works is a design obsessed, passionate family company. We are a very small company to be sure. We have been extremely lucky to have manufacturing partners that have created solutions for molding our very unique hulls.

There is nothing else in the World like our boats.

In the beginning our goal was to manufacture the World’s first roto-molded polyethylene dory, or what we call our LTD16.

We delivered our first roto-molded dory 21 years ago, and she is still bouncing off rocks on the Upper Colorado River.

In 2012 we introduced the SW16 skiff.The goal was to make a performance shallow water fishing boat you could motor, row, troll, and pole. This is a boat that sparks the imagination of the angler. We call her the Shallow Water Assassin.

This year we will introduce a smaller version the SW14 skiff. We are very lucky to be involved with great people that are out there every day boating, and fishing in amazing places. We make our boats, and accessories to be used hard every day in a professional capacity for ourselves, and our friends who are on the water every day.

Our mission then, and now is to make super performing boats that take you everywhere you want to go, and to be as maintenance free as possible.
